Pierre Womble is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Mental Health Services Provider designation (LPC-MHSP). He has a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology and specializes in individual therapy, couples/marital therapy, and consultation.
Mental Health has been a passion and purpose in his life for two decades. Pierre has experience working in mental health clinics, supported living facilities, and forensic settings, and sees patients with a variety of concerns including, but not limited to depression, anxiety, eating disorders, relationship/marital concerns, personality disorders, trauma/abuse, sexual issues, anger/irritability, stress management, career concerns, and those who desire personal growth.
Pierre has worked as an adjunct university instructor where he has taught courses in Psychology. He has also provided oversight of mental health facilities that focus on rehabilitation of clients with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
His perspective on life is that there are times when we need assistance to reclaim or find our inner strength. He believes we all possess the wisdom to succeed but situations or circumstances can create barriers that block or impede our ability to see or move forward. His goal in therapy is to help clients overcome the obstacles that hinder them on their path. He tends to look for the strengths in individuals and his objective is to embrace each client without judgment in order to create a safe environment.
